After years of practicing privacy law and compliance in-house for medical technology companies, I decided to take a meaningful pivot in my career to focus on the areas of law that first inspired me to become a lawyer. Mazur Legal PLLC is dedicated to serving everyday middle-income families and small businesses. We offer services in family law, estate planning, immigration, consumer protection and small business privacy compliance matters in both New York and Massachusetts. Additionally, we provide mediation services to help resolve conflicts efficiently and collaboratively. Mary Mazur

Attorney
Mary currently resides in Boston, MA, with her husband, Shreedhar, and her cherished pets, Zombie the cat and Daisy the dog. Driven by a deep commitment to service, Mary recently transitioned from a corporate law career to establish a remote family law firm, dedicated to providing compassionate and effective legal support to families in both Boston and Buffalo. Growing up in a large, conservative Christian family in Buffalo, New York, instilled in Mary a strong sense of community and a desire to help others. This dedication to service led her to enlist in the New York Army National Guard in 2011. While earning two bachelor's degrees in Journalism and Acting from SUNY Fredonia in 2013, she also commissioned as a Logistics Officer, demonstrating her ability to balance diverse commitments. Mary's passion for justice and her desire to directly impact families led her to pursue law. In 2019, she graduated from CUNY School of Law in Long Island City, New York. Further solidifying her commitment to service, in 2022, Mary transitioned to the Judge Advocate branch of the Army Reserves, where she now serves part-time in the 154th Legal Operational Division, advocating for soldiers in administrative hearings.

Sarah Badillo

Sarah is a CUNY School of Law graduate of 2020. She has a strong passion for justice and the practice of law. Sarah is a fighter. She has beaten the odds in every endeavor she undertakes. Sarah has been completely blind since birth, but yet passed one of the hardest bar exams in the United States. She has a passion for helping others overcome obstacles and has an online social media presence dedicated to mentoring law students facing adversity and applying to law school.

Ruth Tagg

Intern Paralegal
Ruth Tagg is a dedicated paralegal with a passion for helping families navigate the complexities of family and immigration law. As a licensed minister, a mother of five, and the wife of an immigrant-turned-U.S. citizen, Ruth has a unique and compassionate perspective, having personally experienced the challenges of building a life across borders. Ruth worked for a non-profit for 10 plus years as a minister, Married for 13 years, she moved from New York to the UK and currently resides there on a visa. Growing up as one of 14 siblings fostered Ruth's deep appreciation for family, community, and advocacy—values that now shape her approach to legal support. Committed to ensuring every client feels heard and supported, she provides research, case management, and document preparation to help families move forward with confidence. Beyond her legal career, Ruth is deeply involved in ministry and community service, using her voice to uplift and encourage others. She has a love for art, music, singing, and writing, and she finds joy in baking and creating meaningful connections within her local community.
